Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Production Operator at our manufacturing facility in Marlette, United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining industrial presses, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety standards.
* Set up, operate, and monitor industrial presses to produce high-quality parts and components * Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules * Perform regular quality checks on produced items to ensure they meet specifications * Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment * Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area * Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines * Report any equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors promptly * Maintain accurate records of production output and material usage
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent * Previous experience as a press operator preferred * Proficiency in operating industrial presses and related equipment * Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform routine maintenance * Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment * Willingness to work second shift or third shift hours * Knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety procedures
