Exceptional Healthcare Community Hospital is seeking an experienced and certified Medical Laboratory Tech/Scientist to join its team at Maricopa facility. This is a PRN NIGHT Shift position.
Description:
* Areas of testing include hematology, chemistry, coagulation, immunoassay, urinalysis, and point of care * Uses automated equipment and specialized instrumentation to prepare samples for analysis to aid the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases * Manages daily workload within the department to ensure patient testing is completed timely * Reviews quality control results prior to reporting patient results and taking corrective action when needed * Other duties as assigned
Requirements: * Must have at least an associate's degree in medical technology, chemistry, physical or biological science. * Bachelor's degree preferred * ASCP certified or equivalent * Minimum 1 year of hospital laboratory experience * Knowledge of hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements, chemical and biological hazards * Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies and standards
