Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking interpreters to interpret for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, etc. Interpreters must have daytime availability.
Language needed: Creole - Immediate need
Location: Dover, Delaware - IN-PERSON

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Travel to local client sites within the Dover, Delaware area * Provide Creole/English interpreting for school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, medical appointments, and more * Provide superior customer service * Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality * Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Full fluency in both English and Creole * Daytime availability of at least 6 hours per week (between the hours of 9AM - 5PM) * Availability to support our interpreting clients 5-10 hours a week * Access to reliable transportation * 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred, but not required * Industry-specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.), but not required * Candidates must be willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry * Must have reliable phone service for contact * Must be comfortable with smart phone for job input
