Summary- We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Host/Hostess to join our team at 1917 Restaurant part time. The ideal candidate has a passion for people and provides exceptional hospitality. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, who is a team player, multi-tasker with a willingness to learn and be creative. Perform tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. Help with ANY duties within the Restaurant/Winery to ensure seamless experience for our guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Current duties may be changed if the job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.
* Welcoming customers into store/restaurant * Support and manage reservations * Attention to detail, calmness, and creativity in dealing with employees and customers, and the ability to think and react quickly under pressure. * Staying knowledgeable about our range of products * Promote special sales * A self-starter and team player * Ability to support different functions when needed per business needs * A friendly attitude and a strong work ethic * Must be reliable & dependable * Must be able to stand for long period of time * Must maintain a positive attitude
Qualifications-
* Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). * Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. * Familiarity with the Tock system is a plus, must be tech savvy. * Ability to stand for long periods of time and carry up to 40 pounds. * Prior experience in food and beverages is a plus. * Must adhere to proper hygiene and cleanliness practices at all times.
