How You’ll Make an Impact

You’ll provide individualized educational services that help students continue learning outside the traditional classroom. You will:

* Adapt to individual needs. Adjust lesson pacing, materials, and teaching strategies to support each student’s learning needs and participation.

* Maintain connections with school. Coordinate with campus teachers on assignments, instructional priorities, and student progress. Support transitions back to campus with the educational team when appropriate.

* Document services and progress. Maintain accurate instructional records, attendance and service documentation, and progress data to support informed educational decisions.

* Partner with families and school teams. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings as needed, and collaborate with district staff and related service providers.

What You’ll Bring

* A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

* Valid Texas special education teaching certification, with any additional qualifications required for the assignment.

* Knowledge of individualized instruction, IEP implementation, curriculum adaptation, and progress monitoring.

* Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
