Job Description
The Finance Manager ensures that the dealership meets its unit sales quotas and gross objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. They are responsible for generating additional revenue by selling finance and insurance products to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Project monthly vehicle requirements by department for the 90-day sales period * Determine monthly and yearly forecasts for unit sales, gross profit objectives, and departmental profits * Sell financing, extended warranties, and aftermarket products to customers * Establish and maintain relationships with finance sources; submit paperwork and obtain approvals on all finance deals * Meet daily with salespeople to review results and plan activities * Provide on-the-job training and coaching to sales staff * Handle all rate quotations and verify insurance with customer agents * Process and verify all paperwork including title, lien information, taxes, deposits, and trade payoffs * Establish and meet monthly sales and revenue objectives * Follow all company safety policies and procedures; report accidents immediately to management
Qualifications
* High school diploma or the equivalent * Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information * Degree or commensurate experience in finance * Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures * Previous professional sales experience * Computer knowledge preferred * Professional personal appearance * Excellent communication skills * Bilingual Preferred
