About the role
Hiney's Londis Crossmolina seek a Full Time Sales Assistants for the Shop Floor.
MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To operate within the store departments efficiently, effectively and hygienically to ensure customer satisfaction with the highest standards of service and products at all times.
Training will be provided.
Duties include:
* Good customer care skills
* Knowledge of operating a till
* Ordering stock
* Accepting deliveries and reporting any shortages
* Arranging and rotating stock on the shop floor and stock room.
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Updating Shelf edged labels
* Stocking merchandise and creating displays
* Clean shelves and counters and making sure shop and store is tidy and free from clutter at all times.
* Operate computerised till system and barcode scanner, lotto machine, and other services offered to the customers
* Assist customers in bagging purchases
* Be vigilant at all times to prevent loss of stock and waste
* Be flexible
* Be able to communicate and interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner
