Job Description
Starting wage is $22.00+ per hour based on experience plus shift differentials paid for 2nd and 3rd shift.
We are seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk you will be responsible for:
* Maintaining accuracy of inventory and cycle counting * Assigning materials/items to designated areas and placing them on racks, shelves, or in bins * Marking materials with identifying information * Assembling internal and external customers’ orders from stock and placing orders on pallets * Preparing items for shipment * Using SAP for maintaining records and printing labels * Monitoring and creating deliveries and shipping schedules * Creating Bills of Lading (BOLs) and scheduling carriers for pick-ups * Performing additional duties as required
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
* Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent * Have 2 years of related experience * Have prior leadership skills * Have excellent written, reading comprehension and math skills * Be able to operate a forklift, cherry picker and turret * Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills * Be able to bend, push or pull when required
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:
* Previous warehouse experience * Previous hazardous materials training * SAP knowledge
