Overview of the position:
We are a global leader in online travel, and are looking for a payments professional to join our team. The role is for a 6-month period, with the possibility to extend
As our Payments Specialist, you will play a key role in our daily payments operations. You will work in a team of 5 finance professionals and report to the Payments Team Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* File daily statements of our payment service providers
* Reconcile incoming and outgoing payments in our accounting system
* Manage the payment requisitions for 3rd-party vendors
* Perform detailed checks and analyses on 3rd party vendor invoices
* Process 3rd party vendor invoices in internal booking systems and accounting system
* Assist with LiveAboard.com’s day-to-day finance operations

Requirements
* Strong analytical and problem solving skill set
* Great attention to detail, collaborative mind set
* Affinity with Accounting or Finance
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
* Fluent in English
* Work experience in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred
* Experience with e-commerce or travel & tourism is a plus
* Experience with Zendesk is a plus
