Job Description
We are seeking full-time Structural Steel Welders to join our 2nd Shift. Responsibilities include:
* Perform welding operations using MIG welding processes * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately * Set up welding equipment and maintain proper safety protocols * Inspect materials, structures, and products to ensure quality standards are met * Measure and cut materials according to specifications * Maintain welding equipment and work area * Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment
These positions do include overtime; our second shift schedule is Monday through Friday 5pm to 4:30am, and Saturday 5pm to 10pm.
We do offer a $2 per hour shift differntial.
Qualifications
We would like to hear from you if you have the following:
* Able to lift up to 50 pounds * Safety conscious * Have good attendance * Able to work overtime * Have knowledge of drawing language and symbols (for Fitter position) * Are able to use steel hand working tools * Previous welding experience preferred * Pass a welders certification test * Have the ability to safely operate overhead cranes * Knowledge of minor welding machine maintenance is helpful * Knowledge of oxy/acetylene torches and measuring devices, i.e. tapes, squares and levels
