Role Overview: This role involves administering treatments, interpreting telemetry data, coordinating care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety.
Requirements: * Two (2) years of experience required. * Community Hospital experience required. * One (1) year of EPIC charting experience required. * Medication System: Omnicell * Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions. * Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. * Active SC RN license required. * First-time Travelers – 3 years’ experience within specialty required.
Required Clinical Skills: * IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs * Respiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen tanks * Genitourinary/Renal * Gastrointestinal: Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management * Medications: Heparin, Insulin * Isolation Precautions/PPE * Work Settings: Med/Surg, Orthopedics * Plastics
Schedule: * Shift hours: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) * Weekend Requirement: Every Other * Required Float based on need.
