Motu Novu seeks a virtual assistant fluent in American English who will work remotely as an independent contractor to support the firm’s partners in several day-to-day activities, as well as perform certain marketing and business development duties. Occasional, optional international travel to the EU and to the USA.
What You Do
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of working in an international, distributed professional services firm.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of Motu Novu’s service offering and client base.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of administrative operations, compliance, accounting, HR, and finance.
* Provide personal and operational support to the firm’s partners.
* Help manage the inbound and outbound documentation flows.
* Research markets, products, consumer behavior, and competitors.
* Assist in the planning, development, and deployment of new physical goods e-commerce stores.
* Perform operational marketing tasks.
* Provide pre- and post-sale e-commerce customer support via email, ticket, chat, and telephone.
What You Need
* Confident, poised, and outgoing personality, in both internal and external interactions.
* Exceptional written and oral communications skills in (American) English.
* Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
* Demonstrated willingness to study, learn, and carry out tasks in a dependable manner.
* Proficiency with office productivity tools.
* Bona-fide setup as an independent contractor.
* Optionally, familiarity with the GNU/Linux operating system (any distro.)
* Optionally, working knowledge of e-commerce and e-commerce fulfillment tools.
* Successful completion of background check.
