Everyday accomplishments can make a lasting difference—from participating in classroom activities to navigating school routines with confidence. As an Occupational Therapist with Candor, you’ll help students develop the skills they need to learn, participate, and become more independent.

We’re looking for a compassionate, collaborative OT to join our team in a full-time, school-based position. Bring your clinical expertise and commitment to students to a company that values your contributions, supports your professional growth, and understands the importance of work-life balance.

Why Choose Candor?

Your work matters, and you deserve a team that supports you. At Candor, you’ll have access to:

* Competitive Pay: Starting at $50.00 per hour, with compensation for all time worked.

* Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance options for eligible employees.

* Retirement Savings: A 401(k) plan with matching contributions.

* Professional Growth: Mentorship opportunities and reimbursement for professional development.

* Referral Bonuses: Earn up to $1,000 for referring great talent to our team.

* A Collaborative Team: Work alongside professionals who value your expertise and share your commitment to student success.

How You’ll Make an Impact

You’ll help students strengthen the functional skills that support meaningful participation in their educational environment. Your responsibilities will include:

* Understand Each Student’s Needs: Conduct occupational therapy assessments to identify students’ strengths, functional needs, and barriers to participation at school.

* Turn Findings Into Practical Recommendations: Explain evaluation results to families, educators, and district personnel with clarity and compassion.

* Develop Individualized Supports: Collaborate with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team to develop measurable goals and evidence-based interventions that support students’ access, participation, and independence.

* Deliver Meaningful Therapy: Provide occupational therapy services aligned with students’ IEP goals and supervise appropriately licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) when assigned.

* Monitor Student Progress: Maintain accurate service records, document progress toward goals, and use data to guide recommendations and adjustments to interventions.

* Partner With Families and School Teams: Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary discussions to support coordinated services.

What You’ll Bring

* Education: A master’s degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

* Licensure: An active Texas Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners (TBOTE).

* Certification: Current CPR certification.

* Collaborative Approach: Clear communication, thoughtful documentation, and a commitment to working with students, families, and school teams.

* Language Skills: Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
