About the Role
On-Demand is a team within the Engagement Growth organization at Twitch, focused on ensuring our creators have the tools they need to build, grow, and entertain their communities. As an engineer here, you'll work on our video on demand, clips, and other short-form content. This includes how creators create and curate them, as well as the platforms that distribute these assets to all of their viewers. You'll work alongside a highly engaged, collaborative team that designs, builds, and maintains systems that scale to millions of concurrent users. We're constantly improving the experience for our users, and we're looking for new team members who share that passion for the end user. This position is in Seattle, WA.
You Will:
* Learn and contribute across the full stack of our software * Backend (Go), Frontend (React) * Collaborate with fellow engineers, product managers and designers to build new products and solutions * Participate in Operational Excellence work to maintain and support our live services * Help earn customer trust by working with our support teams to resolve issues and fix production bugs
You Have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience as a Software Engineer * Willingness to learn new things and work with a diverse group of people * A strong foundation in data structures and algorithms. * Familiarity with scalability, concurrency, API design, data modeling, and distributed systems fundamentals. * Proficiency in Go, Java, Python or another Object-oriented language * An eagerness to grow as a Software Engineer

* Familiarity with AWS infrastructure * Coding experience with React * Twitch experience / knowledge as a viewer, moderator or streamer

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
