About the role

DEPARTMENT Sales REPORTS TO Marty Hebert, Head of Growth LOCATION Florida (In-Market) CLASSIFICATION Exempt, Full-Time SALARY RANGE $80,000 – $100,000 base + commission

ABOUT INSPECTED Inspected is a fast-growing, tech-enabled platform revolutionizing remote inspections and permitting for the construction industry. We serve homebuilders, HVAC, solar, roofing, pool, and commercial and residential contractors across Florida, Texas, and Tennessee — with new markets coming soon. We are one of South Florida’s fastest-growing companies with 100% growth for three consecutive years. Our proprietary platform, Permit Hub, is transforming a process that once took months into one that takes days. This is a high-energy, high-growth environment where every team member makes a real and visible impact on our customers and our mission.

POSITION SUMMARY The Account Executive – Homebuilder Accounts drives new business growth by selling Inspected’s permitting and virtual inspection solutions to national and regional homebuilders. Builders are managing tight margins, affordability pressure, and the need to keep every community on schedule — and permit and inspection delays are one of the most controllable sources of lost time and carrying cost. This in-market role, based in Florida, manages long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with division and regional leaders, from construction and purchasing teams to land and permitting groups, and shows them how Inspected’s Permit Hub and virtual inspection process turns a months-long permitting and inspection timeline into days across every community they build. The right person is a consultative, strategic seller who is comfortable with enterprise-style deals, builds trust with senior construction leaders, and can turn a successful pilot in one division into a multi-market relationship.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Strategic Account Development * Build and execute a target account plan for national, regional, and local production and custom homebuilders, including division-by-division entry strategies * Research target accounts, map the buying committee, identify key decision makers across construction, purchasing, and permitting, and uncover each builder’s schedule, cost, and compliance priorities * Consistently achieve activity-based KPIs, including outbound outreach volume, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities created * Track and convert opportunities through the full sales funnel, meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly goals

Consultative Selling & Deal Management * Educate builders on Inspected’s value proposition and virtual inspection solutions, tying faster permits and inspections to shorter build cycles, lower carrying costs, and more predictable closings * Lead pilots, proposals, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations, and drive expansion from an initial community or division to additional markets * Stay current on housing market conditions, builder priorities, and jurisdiction-level permitting trends, and adapt messaging to improve win rates * Represent Inspected at homebuilder and construction industry events and build long-term executive relationships

CRM, Forecasting & Collaboration * Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed records of all sales activity in the company’s CRM to support forecasting, pipeline visibility, and performance reporting * Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and Customer Service to onboard new builder accounts smoothly and to communicate customer challenges and opportunities that improve close rates and retention * Partner with the Head of Growth on account strategy, pricing, and market expansion priorities

WHAT YOU BRING To perform this job successfully, the individual must meet the following qualifications. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Required * High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience * 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling technology-enabled services or software with multi-stakeholder, longer sales cycles * Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology * Proven ability to build relationships with senior executives and manage pipeline and forecasting in a fast-paced environment * Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with a customer-focused mindset * Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines * Ability to work independently in market while collaborating with internal teams

Preferred * Experience selling to homebuilders, developers, or the construction industry * Existing relationships with homebuilder divisions or regional leadership * Familiarity with permitting, inspections, or construction scheduling * Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot

WHY JOIN INSPECTED * Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, commensurate with experience * Flexible PTO policy * Health benefits and 401(k) * A front-row seat to one of South Florida’s fastest-growing tech companies * A collaborative, high-energy culture that values clarity, initiative, and impact * Real ownership of relationships with some of the largest homebuilders in the country

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not have any direct reports.

TRAVEL This position may require up to 25% travel to visit builder divisions, communities, and industry events.
