Job description Join Amaris Consulting as a DevSecOps Consultant in Gothenburg and contribute to a strategic project for one of our clients in the automotive sector. Within a Cyber Security Expert Team, the role focuses on supporting development and platform teams with security expertise, governance, and practical DevSecOps practices across cloud, application, and platform environments. Your missions Provide operational security support to development and platform teams on security questions, findings, incidents, and risk assessments. Support the integration of automated security controls, scanning, and policies into development lifecycles and CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to secure design and implementation across cloud environments, applications, and container-based platforms. Assist teams with vulnerability handling, third-party dependency management, and software supply chain security practices. Coach development and platform teams on practical security measures that support delivery speed and reliability. Apply established security best practices, benchmarks, and governance standards across technical environments. Share knowledge within the Cyber Security Expert Team to improve ways of working and common practices. Contribute to the development of security standards, guidelines, and reusable approaches across the organization.
Your profile Experience in application security, cloud security, infrastructure security, DevSecOps, or security engineering within development or platform environments. Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms and core services, including compute, identity, networking, logging, and monitoring. Experience with vulnerability management, secure development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and security automation. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent. Knowledge of container orchestration platforms, code scanning, artifact scanning, and dependency governance is a plus. Familiarity with common security and compliance frameworks is a plus. Academic background in cybersecurity, computer science, software development, information systems, or a related field is appreciated. English fluent. Swedish is a plus. Strong analytical and structured mindset, with the ability to work independently in complex technical environments. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
