About the role

Job Description

Are you a recent engineering graduate ready to turn your degree into real-world delivery experience? LSTC Group Ltd is looking for a Graduate Project Manager to join our multidisciplinary teams in London, supporting the delivery of development and design projects from the ground up.

What you'll be doing

* Supporting and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams to deliver work on time, on budget and profitably. * Looking after our clients' needs and helping build outstanding working relationships with both clients and LSTC teams. * Assisting with contract and variation management, helping minimise risk through sound negotiation. * Managing the invoicing process and supporting internal business reporting on key project metrics. * Engaging and managing subcontractors, whether through direct allocation or mini-competitive tender events. * Helping plan and deliver site visit and survey strategies, and preparing/updating project programmes. * Supporting new client relationships and project tenders — including tender documents, costs and programmes. * Ensuring quality, environmental and safety documentation is prepared in line with company procedures and legislation. * Carrying out risk assessments, safety audits and site-specific checks, always championing LSTC's health & safety culture. * Occasionally travelling within the UK to meet clients and contractors, and working at other LSTC or client offices as needed.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

* A suitable engineering degree (or equivalent). * Desirable: exposure to OHL, cable or substation design, and/or knowledge of NEC contracts. * Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office. * Strong verbal and written communication, with excellent reporting and administration skills and a sharp eye for detail. * Confident, organised and comfortable contributing in meetings. * A relationship-builder who thrives working with both colleagues and clients. * Ideally, a valid UK driving licence (or one acceptable to our insurers). * Willingness to undertake occasional UK travel and unsocial hours when required.
