VSC Fire & Security in Richmond, Virginia is seeking candidates for the position of Recruiting Coordinator.

What you need:
* Proven experience (6 months -1 years) as a recruiting coordinator or similar role, demonstrating a solid understanding of hiring principles and practices. * Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. * Experience providing exceptional candidate or customer experience. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. * Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. * Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. * Desirable (but not required!): * Bilingual
What you will do:
* Responsible for interview coordination managing the scheduling across multiple calendars and multiple hiring managers. * Screen and review resumes and applications. * Will serve as the primary point of contract for candidates answering questions, providing updates and ensuring candidates get the best experience. * Represent the company as a VSC ambassador including on the phone, or at hiring events. * Aid hiring managers in posting of requisitions, determining pay rate ranges and disposition of candidates. * Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including orientation, paperwork, and I-9s. * Address employee inquiries and concerns, provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, and contribute to fostering a positive work environment. * Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations. * Compile recruiting data, generate reports, and analyze trends to provide insights for management decision-making. * Participate in ad hoc process improvement initiatives and other projects.
