A/C Installation Working Supervisor

Artic Building Services is seeking an experienced and motivated A/C Installation Working Supervisor to oversee air-conditioning installation projects while remaining actively involved in hands-on work. The successful candidate will lead installation teams, maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate A/C installation works on site. * Allocate daily tasks and monitor the quality and progress of work. * Install, commission and test a range of air-conditioning systems. * Ensure installations comply with manufacturers' instructions, project specifications and relevant regulations. * Maintain high health and safety standards, including completing site documentation and risk assessments. * Identify and resolve installation issues promptly. * Coordinate with project managers, clients, subcontractors and other trades. * Support maintenance and service activities when required. * Ensure tools, materials and equipment are used safely and effectively. * Complete installation records, progress reports and other required documentation. * Mentor less-experienced team members and promote good working practices.
Experience and Qualifications
* At least 10 years of A/C installation experience. * Relevant air-conditioning, refrigeration or mechanical engineering qualifications. * Appropriate industry certifications, including current refrigerant-handling certification where required. * Strong practical knowledge of A/C installation methods, equipment and commissioning procedures. * Good working knowledge of maintenance and service activities. * Proven experience supervising installation teams and managing site activities. * Ability to supervise installation works while remaining hands-on. * Good understanding of health and safety requirements. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. * Full UK driving licence preferred.
