CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Position Summary
Oversees all jobsite activities, maintains productivity, and provides a safe work environment. Coordinates schedules and supervises employees and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Organize, coordinate, and supervise craft workers and subcontractors * Determine work priorities and coordinate activities to maintain efficient workflow * Enforce contract requirements and jobsite safety; conduct regular safety meetings * Coordinate with owners and design teams; serve as on-site liaison * Manage materials, deliveries, staging, and storage; maintain tool/equipment inventory and security * Write and submit detailed daily reports; communicate progress to the office * Hold weekly coordination meetings addressing schedule, manpower, safety, and materials * Maintain overall schedule and short-interval schedules; drive schedule adherence * Lead quality control and ensure compliance with plans/specs/codes; coordinate inspections and testing * Track labor productivity; manage company and rental equipment for cost and productivity * Accurately code and submit time; coordinate closeout and punch list completion * Collaborate with Project Manager; mentor and evaluate subordinate staff
Required Qualifications
* Proven experience as a construction superintendent or similar field leadership role * Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and safety practices * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience supervising multiple subcontractors and trades * Experience mentoring or supervising field personnel
Work Environment / Travel
Field-based position; travel to project sites as needed; work in active indoor/outdoor construction environments.

Compensation: $65K - $125K (DOE)
