Childcare Teacher – All Age Groups

Do you enjoy helping children learn, building their confidence, and celebrating their accomplishments? Our Lake-Lehman Early Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable teacher who takes pride in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.
This position supports classrooms serving children ages 6 weeks through 12 years, moving between age groups based on classroom needs. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, brings a positive attitude, and understands that everyday interactions make a lasting difference in a child’s life.
What You’ll Do
* Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families. * Actively supervise children and make their safety your first priority. * Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning, and conversation. * Support daily routines, including meals, diapering, toileting, and rest. * Use patience, positive guidance, and encouragement. * Work collaboratively with teachers and adapt to different classrooms. * Maintain a professional, respectful, and positive approach with children, families, and coworkers.
What We’re Looking For
* A high school diploma or equivalent. * At least two years of experience working in a DHS-regulated agency. * A sincere interest in caring for and teaching children. * Willingness and ability to work with all age groups, from infants through school-age children. * A positive attitude, professional conduct, and strong communication skills. * Reliable attendance, initiative, and a willingness to learn. * Ability to obtain required clearances and complete required training.
Schedule and Availability
Our center is open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This role requires availability to work scheduled shifts within that window, with flexibility to support classroom needs. You would work an assigned shift—not the full operating day.
