About the Role
We are looking to hire a motivated, entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to maintain, troubleshoot, and prepare autonomous delivery robots for daily operations at Towson University.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in robotics, mechanical maintenance, and electro-mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, inspect, clean, and maintain delivery robots. * Perform basic mechanical repairs and troubleshooting. * Manage battery charging and equipment readiness. * Assist with sensor calibration, wheel alignment, and software or hardware updates. * Support remote technical teams and maintain an organized workshop.
Requirements
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Basic computer literacy and good communication skills. * Ability to lift over 50 pounds safely. * Availability for weekend day shifts. * Automotive repair, electronics, robotics, or technician experience is preferred. * Relevant technical students and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
