Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Job Overview:
We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our customers * Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles * Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections * Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively * Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization * Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns * Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* Strong diagnosing ability of both mechanical and electrical complaints and and skills to repairing all makes/models of vehicles * Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest * 8+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic * ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve * Meet or exceed hourly goals * Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes * Professional appearance and strong communication * A desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
* Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds * Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head * Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair * Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools * Walk/stand for the majority of their workday * Drive manual transmissions vehicles * Efficiently navigate a computer
