Sustainable Comfort, Inc. is in search of a Certified HERS Rater to join our team in Albany, NY. As a Certified HERS Rater, you will be an essential part of our mission to drive sustainable construction practices and reduce the environmental impact of multifamily housing. Key Responsibilities
* Conduct HERS ratings and energy assessments for multifamily residential buildings.
* Collaborate with architects, builders, and developers to optimize energy performance.
* Prepare comprehensive reports with energy efficiency recommendations.
* Perform diagnostic tests including blower door and duct leakage tests.
* Stay current with industry standards and certifications.
Requirements
* Certified as a HERS Rater.
* Knowledge of green building principles and sustainable construction practices.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proficiency in energy modeling software is advantageous.
* Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
