The Park Hotel Kenmare is one of Ireland’s most prestigious five-star luxury destinations, renowned for its exceptional hospitality, refined atmosphere, and dedication to excellence. We are seeking a professional, passionate, and customer-focused Bartender to join our incredible team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding bar service, crafting high-quality beverages, and creating memorable guest experiences that reflect the elegance and reputation of The Park Hotel Kenmare.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks to the highest standards. * Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to guests in line with the hotel’s luxury hospitality standards. * Maintain expert knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and bar menu offerings. * Offer recommendations and engage guests to enhance their overall experience. * Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times. * Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. * Monitor and manage bar inventory, including restocking and reporting shortages. * Handle cash, card payments, and billing accurately. * Work collaboratively with the restaurant and hotel team to ensure seamless service. * Uphold responsible service of alcohol guidelines. * Contribute to the creation of new cocktails and seasonal drink menus when required.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience as a bartender in a high-end bar, hotel, or restaurant environment preferred. * Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and wines. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. * Professional appearance and demeanour. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices.
