About Margaux
Margaux is a new kind of footwear brand rooted in friendship, collaboration, and community. Co-founders Sarah Pierson and Alexa Buckley launched Margaux in 2015, setting out to create a modern footwear wardrobe for women on the go, powered by thoughtful design and an innovative approach. What started as a handful of silhouettes has grown into a full collection, complete with beautiful, comfortable styles for everywhere life takes you. Each pair is designed in New York and handmade in Spain, and thoughtfully crafted to withstand the test of time.
Position Overview
Margaux is seeking an exemplary store associate to join our team at our new store at Marin Country Mart.
Every store team member will work closely with the Store Manager and Margaux HQ team to ensure the successful launch of this new store location. Your goal will be to create a memorable, personalized shopping experience for every customer through exemplary service and a passion for the Margaux brand.
Every store associate will be an essential team member, facilitating the seamless integration in the MCM community.
As part of Margaux's initial one-year pop-up at Marin Country Mart, this role will help introduce the Margaux brand to new customers, foster community engagement, and contribute to the success of the location throughout the pop-up period.
This position offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing luxury fashion DTC brand at an exciting stage of growth.
Responsibilities:
* Provide an outstanding and personalized client experience by leading with exceptional service on the sales floor, greeting customers promptly and engagingly, offering expert styling advice, and showcasing comprehensive product knowledge. * Contribute to business growth and achieve sales goals by proactively understanding and responding to customer needs, and promptly addressing any customer concerns that may arise. * Maintain the selling floor in alignment with brand standards; ensure visual merchandising is consistently updated and assist in the implementation and management of in-store inventory strategy. * Maintain BOH inventory, communicate proactively on stock issues, process returns efficiently, and generally support store operations.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in contemporary or luxury retail and a proven track record in cultivating meaningful client relationships is strongly preferred. * Passion for Margaux brand! * Has a friendly and energetic personality; exhibits professionalism in all situations and is collaborative and people-focused, excelling in team environments and interpersonal interactions. * Quick and efficient problem-solver with a strong understanding of business operations, and outstanding organizational and communication abilities with a sharp eye for detail. * Ability to work with a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events.
