About the role

Job Description

We’re looking for a Training Coordinator to join our Norwich site and play a key role in keeping our workforce fully trained, compliant and audit‑ready. If you’re organised, confident working with people across different departments, and comfortable managing training processes from end to end, this could be a strong next step for you.

This role is central to how the site manages legal, compliance and skills training. You’ll oversee the scheduling, tracking and recording of all training activity, working closely with the Compliance & Skills Lead and site leadership to ensure training plans are up to date and aligned with operational priorities.

You’ll also be responsible for managing our LMS activity on site, coordinating inductions, supporting external training arrangements, and keeping all training documentation, including SOP updates and compliance matrices audit‑ready.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Planning and scheduling training sessions and ensuring all training records are accurate and up to date. * Working with Team and Shift Leaders to identify training needs and build local training plans. * Updating and maintaining the LMS, running reports, and responding to internal queries. * Delivering induction sessions when required. * Coordinating external training and occupational health appointments using approved providers. * Keeping the legal and compliance training matrix current and audit‑ready. * Managing training documentation, SOP updates and communications. * Meeting regularly with site leadership to report on training progress and priorities. * Managing the site training budget across the year.

Qualifications

* Experience in training coordination, HR, occupational health, compliance/HSE, or a similar role. * Ideally, experience in food manufacturing or another regulated environment. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. * Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) is helpful, but not essential. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues at all levels. * Someone proactive, reliable and able to build good working relationships across the site.

Additional Information

The Training Coordinator ensures our people have the right skills to work safely and effectively, and that we meet the standards required for audits, compliance, and customer expectations. You’ll be the link between operational teams, leadership and our wider People function, helping keep the site running smoothly.

If you’re organised, confident with systems, and enjoy working with people, this could be a great fit.
