About the role

Company Overview: FDCTech, Inc. is a publicly traded financial technology group built on a vision to acquire, modernize, and scale high-potential financial services companies across the wealth management, forex, payment/EMI, and brokerage sectors. Driven by an international team of industry veterans, FDCTech transforms traditional and emerging financial institutions by deploying proprietary trading and payment infrastructure, streamlining operations, driving cost synergies, and elevating the end-user experience across global markets.

As part of our European expansion strategy, FDCTech, Inc. is operating a licensed Electronic Money Institution (EMI) in Denmark under the supervision of Finanstilsynet. The EMI entity functions as a central payment and e-money processing hub, leveraging the Group’s technology, compliance controls, and operational infrastructure to deliver secure, transparent, and scalable payment solutions throughout the EEA.

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead our licensed Electronic Money Institution (EMI) in Denmark. Serving as the primary executive authority in Denmark, the Managing Director will be responsible for operationalizing the newly acquired license, ensuring robust corporate governance and driving commercial strategy while maintaining complete regulatory integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Drive the execution of the company’s business plan, translating Group vision into local market expansion and commercial success. * Direct the local entity’s corporate governance framework, chairing local management committees and reporting regularly to the local Board of Directors on performance, risk, and regulatory matters. * Oversee local operational workflows, ensuring high system uptime, robust vendor oversight, and strict operational resilience. * Ensure strict compliance with the Danish financial regulations, fulfill statutory directorship duties, and maintain fit-and-proper governance standards. * Act as the primary executive ambassador for the business, cultivating key relationships with tier-one banking partners, payment schemes, corporate clients, and industry stakeholders. * Serve as the primary local executive contact for financial regulatory authorities, maintaining transparent, proactive, and positive regulatory relationships. * Oversee regional financial performance and operational budgets, ensuring cost discipline, commercial sustainability, and efficient resource allocation. * Guide the local rollout of financial products and services, ensuring offerings are tailored to local market demand while operating within approved product frameworks. * Ensure the local entity adheres to statutory reporting, capital requirements, governance policies, and compliance standards mandated by local law. * Maintain and analyze team records, operational logs, and project documentation, proactively identifying process bottlenecks and proposing actionable solutions for efficiency gains. * Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues, internal teams, and external stakeholders to swiftly resolve day-to-day operational issues and maintain smooth business workflows. * Track financial market trends, emerging trading strategies, and regulatory developments to deliver accurate, high-value insights to clients and internal leadership. * Execute ad-hoc operational projects and strategic tasks as directed by the executive leadership.

Person Specification:

* Minimum 5–8+ years of progressive leadership experience within a regulated financial institution, including EMI, Payment Institution, or Neo-Bank in Northern Europe. * Fluency in English and Danish language is a must. * Proven track record of fit-and-proper clearance or an equivalent EEA financial regulator. In-depth understanding of Nordic digital banking, payment clearing systems, and local payment preferences. * Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related discipline from a recognized institution. * Relevant industry certifications are highly advantageous.

What We Offer:  💰Competitive remuneration package, based on experience 🏥Medical insurance 🎁Annual discretionary performance-based bonuses 🕛Hybrid model and flexible working hours
