Who We Are: Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distributor that has proudly served communities across Idaho and Montana for four generations.
Job Summary: Driver Helpers support local delivery routes within an assigned territory, working with drivers to get product safely and efficiently to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with product delivery in a safe, timely, and professional manner. * Unload product from the trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck. * Stock cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery. * Rotate product according to company standards. * Collect empty keg shells, damaged goods, or mis-ordered product. * Communicate clearly with delivery drivers, sales reps, and store personnel. * Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Time management, attention to detail, and communication skills. * Able to use standard handheld computer devices.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
* Ability to regularly lift and move cases weighing 20–30 lbs., and occasionally up to 160 lbs. to waist height. * Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods. * Able to safely operate a delivery vehicle in a range of weather conditions.
