About the role
SPAR Ballsbridge require a full time Deli Assistant to join their fantastic team.
What We Are Looking For:
* Previous deli or food service experience is preferred, but training can be provided to the right candidate.
* Good customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy periods.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP procedures.
* Ability to prepare sandwiches, rolls, salads and other deli products to a high standard.
* Maintain excellent cleanliness and hygiene throughout the deli area.
* Follow food rotation, stock control and date-checking procedures.
* Ensure all food is prepared, stored and displayed correctly.
* Be punctual, dependable and flexible with working hours, including weekends.
* Take pride in your work and maintain high standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve fresh food in accordance with company standards.
* Provide excellent customer service and handle customer requests professionally.
* Keep counters, equipment and work areas clean and organised.
* Monitor food quality, freshness and stock levels.
* Follow all food safety, allergen management and hygiene procedures.
* Work closely with the deli team to ensure smooth daily operations.

* Store specific training will be provided.
