About the role
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in backend and frontend development using C#, React, and relational databases. This role is responsible for designing scalable software solutions, leading technical projects, mentoring engineers, and contributing to architectural and technology decisions while maintaining high-quality software standards.
Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions using C#, React, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. * Maintain and enhance legacy applications built with C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. * Lead complex software development projects from design through implementation. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze technical and business requirements. * Drive coding, testing, and deployment best practices to ensure high-quality software. * Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers. * Participate in architecture, technology stack, and development methodology decisions. * Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with external services. * Optimize database design, SQL queries, and application performance.
Requisitos
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer. * Strong expertise in: * C# * ASP.NET * React * SQL Server * PostgreSQL * Hands-on experience with: * Entity Framework Core * RESTful APIs * OAuth * Hangfire * External API integrations * Deep understanding of: * SOLID principles * Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) * DRY * YAGNI * Strong software architecture and scalable system design experience. * Advanced knowledge of database design, SQL optimization, and performance tuning. * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure). * Experience using Docker and Docker Compose. * Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). * Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring software engineers. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have * Additional experience with Azure Cloud. * Advanced experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
