Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transcriptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for listening to audio recordings and accurately transcribing them into written documents. This role requires a strong command of the English language, excellent typing skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe them into written documents * Ensure accuracy and consistency in transcriptions by proofreading and editing * Use transcription software and equipment to streamline the transcription process * Meet tight deadlines and manage a high volume of work * Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure client satisfaction * Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information * Collaborate with team members to improve processes and quality of work
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience in transcription or a related field preferred * Excellent typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute * Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling * Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Proficiency in using transcription software and equipment * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines * Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
