Requirements and responsibilities
What you'll do
* Ensure software quality in the development of new features across software modules * Build and expand test automation for software modules * Define, implement, execute and maintain automated tests using existing testing tools and frameworks (Playwright, Cypress) * Continuously enhance and optimize existing test frameworks * Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies * Design, write, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases * Perform manual cross-module integration testing * Identify, track and report software defects * Verify and validate defect fixes * Drive innovation and continuously improve testing processes
What you'll bring
* 5+ years work experience as a Test Automation Engineer * Experience with automated testing and tools (such as Playwright or Cypress) and practical experience in Java * Experience with manual testing, test strategies and test plans. * Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies * High quality awareness and a structured, independent, and reliable way of working * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail * Excellent communication skills * Experience with release and change management is a plus * Very good English skills, German skills is a plus
