As a Teacher Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping students ages 3-12 succeed both inside and outside the classroom. No two days are the same, and every day offers the chance to inspire, encourage, and make a lasting impact.
π― What You'll Be Doing
You'll work side-by-side with teachers and school staff to create a positive, engaging learning environment where students can thrive.
Your Daily Responsibilities Include:
β Supporting individual students and small groups with classroom lessons β Assisting with enrichment, independent study, and academic support activities β Preparing classroom materials and organizing learning resources β Helping facilitate classroom projects, activities, and school events β Assisting with grading and administrative classroom tasks β Supervising students during lunch, recess, field trips, and special activities β Building positive relationships with students and encouraging their growth β Supporting teachers in creating a fun, structured learning environment

Preferred Experience:

π Education Requirements
Applicants must meet ONE of the following qualifications:
π 60 or more college credit hours completed π Associate's Degree or higher π Passing score on the Missouri ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment π Completion of Missouri's Online Substitute Training Program π Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate
