About the role
We are looking for compassionate individuals to join our ILS team. As an ILS Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one assistance and guidance to adults with developmental disabilities, helping them develop daily living skills, and maintain their well-being.
Responsibilities
* Provide individualized support based on each client's needs and goals. * Assist with daily living activities and personal care when necessary. * Teach and encourage independent living skills. * Support meal preparation, household tasks, and daily routines. * Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and community activities. * Promote self-confidence, decision-making, and independence. * Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. * Monitor progress and communicate important updates to the appropriate team members.
Requirements
* Patient, dependable, compassionate, and responsible. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans. * Willingness to learn and support individuals with developmental disabilities. * Previous caregiving or experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. * Valid California driver's license. * Current vehicle registration and proof of automobile insurance. * Reliable transportation. * Ability to pass required Live Scan fingerprinting and background clearance.
