Are you a hands-on professional who enjoys solving problems, working with tools, and making a difference every day? We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance & Facilities Technician to help keep our school facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Schedule
🕒 Monday - Friday 🕒 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Evening Shift)
Compensation
💲 $20.07 per hour
Essential Functions
As a Maintenance & Facilities Technician, you will perform a variety of maintenance and repair duties, including but not limited to:
* Electrical repairs and troubleshooting * Plumbing installation and repairs * Grounds maintenance and care * Carpentry work and repairs * Floor tile installation and replacement * Cold patch roof repairs * Operation of maintenance equipment and tools * Fence installation and repair * Furniture and equipment assembly and repair * Routine preventive maintenance of equipment * Driveway and parking lot repairs * Delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the district * Loading and unloading materials from trucks * Maintaining accurate inventory and work order records * Performing additional maintenance-related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division * Ability to work effectively with school staff, maintenance teams, vendors, and community members * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships * Ability to work independently while following district policies, procedures, and safety standards * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Qualifications
✅ Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience required
✅ High School Diploma or GED
✅ Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
✅ Ability to work independently and safely
✅ Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
Additional Requirements
* Must successfully complete a fingerprint-based background check * Fingerprinting costs are the responsibility of the applicant
