About the role
About the Role
Join an early-stage freight and logistics technology team as a customer-facing engineer. You will work directly with logistics teams to turn operational challenges into reliable, AI-powered products, partnering closely with engineering from discovery through deployment.
What You'll Do
* Work with logistics teams to understand their workflows and translate customer needs into system designs.
* Build full-stack tools using TypeScript and Node.js, with React where appropriate.
* Integrate enterprise systems such as ERP and transport management platforms, APIs, SFTP, and event queues.
* Develop reliable data pipelines for messy information from multiple sources.
* Help shape product direction and technical decisions with the engineering team.
* Own work from initial design through production deployment, iterating quickly based on user feedback.
* Travel regularly to customer sites across Europe and Asia.
What We're Looking For
* At least 3 years of experience building full-stack applications or backend systems in production, with a record of stable engineering roles.
* Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, plus experience designing APIs and integrating external and enterprise systems.
* Experience specifying and shipping products directly with users, and building backend infrastructure that can scale.
* Production experience delivering LLM or agent functionality, such as RAG, evaluations, or orchestration.
* Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, GCP, or AWS, and building data pipelines for unstructured or inconsistent data.
* Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and comfort working with autonomy in an early-stage environment.
* React or another modern frontend framework is a plus. Logistics, supply chain, or operations experience is also beneficial.
