About the role
Automotive Transmission Rebuilder Position Responsibilities * Diagnose, rebuild and repair automotive transmission systems to specifications- knowledge of electrical and computer systems is a plus * Explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other teammates and customers as required * Remove and Reinstall Transmission systems * Assist other technicians in performing technical activities * Continuously learns new technical information and techniques informal training session in order to stay abreast with the rapidly changing automotive technology * Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur * Maintains an organized service department

JOB REQUIREMENTS * Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as a Automotive Transmission Rebuilder * Hold a valid driver’s license * Own professional grade tools * Experience with mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience specific to transmission rebuilding * Ability to communicate solutions to others * ASE certifications a plus * Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
