Job Description
* Provide support for general analytical methods to characterize purified proteins/antibodies, including assessment of titer, concentration, purity and relevant biophysical properties. * Prepare buffers and samples and acquire data using instruments such as HPLCs and other relevant equipment. * Help instrument maintenance / calibration, and perform basic troubleshooting as needed * Work collaboratively with Lilly PBS team on-site to ensure smooth operation of lab instruments, and to achieve critical research objectives and timelines. * Data analysis and data capture of experimental results using E-notebook and data sharing in a timely manner. * Detail oriented and precise in routine lab practice.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or similar discipline * Basic knowledge of lab activities, such as making buffers, performing calculations, documenting experiments and data analysis. * Experience in basic protein analytical characterizations technique, familiar with HPLCs is highly desirable. * Experience with biophysical assays and other analytical techniques is a plus * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Additional Information
* Position is full-time, 1st shift, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
* Pay range: $25.00 - $26.75 / hour
