In season, responsibility is limited to Chicago Central: planning and executing plowing, shoveling, and de-icing; mobilizing crews and equipment; managing routes; monitoring weather and job performance; and managing full-time hourly operations staff at that branch. After the season, the manager will transition to oversees off-season activities and landscape services for all three branches, including post-season inspections, site repairs, removal of snow-related site equipment, fleet repair tracking, and movement of salt and other materials.
