About the role

Who we are:

At Vireo, we're growing something bigger than a business. With roughly 4,500 team members, over 1 million square feet of cultivation space, and more than 170 dispensaries across 10+ states, we're one of the fastest-growing platforms in the industry. The best part is that we're just getting started.

What sets us apart isn't just our footprint. It's our people. From cultivation and manufacturing to retail, corporate operations, and our expanding agribusiness ventures, every role here plays a real part in shaping where this industry goes next. We look for people with drive, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to make a difference  and in return, we offer real opportunities to grow, contribute, and make an impact.

We're also proud to be one of the most diverse and inclusive workplaces in cannabis. Our culture is built on collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement. This shows in how we support each other, engage with our communities, and celebrate wins together.

If you're ready to turn your passion into a career, we'd love to have you on the team. Let's grow the future together.

What we offer:

* Compensation: $80,000-85,000 annually depending on experience

* Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance on the first of the month after you begin employment

* Competitive additional benefits including HSA, FSA, Dependable Care, EAP services, etc.

* 15 Days of accrued PTO in addition to 2 Wellness Days & Volunteer Hours that will increase with tenure

* 401k program with an employer match after six months of employment

What the role is about:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in building our team by finding and connecting with top talent across the organization. You'll manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to hiring, providing flexible support for retail, operations, cultivation, production, and corporate teams depending on the needs of the business. You'll do this while creating a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate is resourceful, personable, and excited about helping a growing company thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.

What impact you'll make:

* Post job openings and source candidates via job boards, social media, and networking, tailoring strategies to the unique talent pools for retail, operations, cultivation, production, and corporate roles

* Support the full recruitment life cycle — from screening candidates and coordinating interviews with hiring managers to extending offers — across multiple departments and business functions

* Help maintain candidate pipelines and databases, including high-volume pipelines for retail and production roles as well as specialized pipelines for cultivation and corporate positions

* Assist in preparing recruitment materials and job descriptions specific to retail, operations, cultivation, production, and corporate functions

* Conduct regular recruitment training for hiring managers and interviewers across departments

* Support compliance with state and federal employment regulations across all supported business areas

* Provide a positive candidate experience and help build relationships with potential hires at every level, from frontline retail and production roles to corporate positions

* Develop and execute strategies to strengthen the company's employer brand, including creating engaging job postings, managing social media recruitment campaigns, and coordinating candidate events

* Track recruitment metrics and help prepare reports for HR leadership, highlighting trends across retail, operations, cultivation, production, and corporate recruiting

* Continue to evolve our recruitment strategies and processes to meet the needs of a growing, multi-functional business

What you’ve accomplished:

* 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in retail or hospitality; cannabis industry experience a strong plus

* Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment

* Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools
