About the role
Position Overview:
A growing distribution and logistics company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material handling activities. This individual will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, moved, and shipped while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse and distribution operations. Success in this role will be measured by productivity, accuracy, safety compliance, and overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities Include:
* Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments and deliveries * Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory throughout the facility * Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks and place them in designated storage areas * Pick, pack, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment * Transport products, materials, and inventory to assigned warehouse locations * Identify and report damaged goods, inventory shortages, and quality concerns * Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities * Maintain accurate inventory records, shipment documentation, and activity logs * Inspect warehouse equipment and report maintenance or repair needs * Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operating guidelines * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment * Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to achieve daily operational goals * Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as needed * Perform any other duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations * Proven forklift operating experience required * Valid forklift certification preferred * Experience with inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy * Familiarity with warehouse equipment and material handling procedures * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to follow safety procedures and operating guidelines * Basic computer and inventory system experience preferred * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday
Compensation & Benefits:
