This is a remote position.
We are looking forFrontend Developersto join a large digital engineering programme delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure enterprise applications in the financial sector. The role focuses on building modern UI components in React (primary) and Angular, contributing to shared libraries, and ensuring best-practice standards across accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
Responsibilities
> * Build, refactor, and optimise UI modules inReactandAngular > > * Translate requirements, wireframes, and UX prototypes into production ready components > * Create reusable components, shared libraries, and maintainfrontendarchitecture consistency > * Optimise performance, rendering behaviour, and overall user experience > * Integratefrontendapplications with REST APIs and backend services > * Participate in code reviews and apply clean code practices > * Implement unit tests using Jest, Jasmine, Karma, React Testing Library > * Collaborate with backend, design, product, and DevOps teams > * Work with build tools (Webpack, Vite, NX, Lerna) > * Maintain documentation and support engineering standards
Requirements
> * 3–5 yearsof commercial experience infrontenddevelopment > * Strong experience withReact and Angular > * Excellent understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM, and browser internals > * Experience with design systems and component driven development > * Solid capability with state management (NgRx, Redux, RxJS, Zustand, Jotai, Signals) > * Good understanding of REST API integration patterns > * Comfortable with Git in collaborative multi-branch environments > * Experience writing unit tests forfrontendcode > * Fluent English for daily work and technical documentation
Nice to have > * Experience with microfrontends or monorepo frameworks > * Knowledge offrontendperformance profiling tools > * Familiarity with CI pipelines forfrontenddelivery > * Accessibility experience (WCAG) > * Exposure to Azure or cloud basedfrontenddeployments
