Job Description
Theracare is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient pediatric team. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working with children in a collaborative, play-based environment and is available for afternoon and evening hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of developmental, sensory, and functional needs * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support independence and participation in daily activities * Utilize creative, play-based therapy techniques to engage children and promote skill development * Provide family and caregiver education to support carryover of skills outside the clinic * Complete timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Schedule:
* Part-time * Afternoon and evening availability required
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program * Current Indiana OT license (or eligible) * Pediatric experience preferred, but not required * Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills * Passion for working with children and families
