About Fairfax Radiology Centers Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC) - the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia - is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to support our Reston and Herndon imaging centers.
In this role, you’ll provide high-quality ultrasound services in a collaborative outpatient setting. Your professionalism, empathy, and technical expertise will help ensure every patient feels supported and cared for during their visit.

Schedule & Location * PRN - as needed coverage (the hours are typically Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) * Daytime weekday hours preferred * Location: Reston / Herndon Imaging Centers * Perks: Free on-site parking
What You’ll Do As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will: * Perform general ultrasound exams, including: * OB (1st trimester) * GYN * Abdominal * Small parts * Breast ultrasound experience is a plus, but not required * Consistently acquire high-quality diagnostic images * Deliver patient-centered care with professionalism and compassion
What You’ll Bring * RDMS certification required upon hire * BLS certification required * 1+ year of general ultrasound experience preferred - new graduates welcome * Strong communication and patient care skills * Ability to adapt in a dynamic outpatient environment

Compensation:
Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:
$39.95 - $54.05 per hour
Placement within the range is determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, and internal equity.
