Job Description
1. Performance
* Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner, understand and complete direction from direct supervisor * Perform all assigned tasks with limited supervision * Perform all duties and activities in a manner that conforms to safety requirements * Perform outside work in varying weather conditions and adverse conditions U/G such as water
2. Physical Demands
* Meet physical demands for the role: Be able to lift bags of cement and stick powder and load them on a truck along with the ability to carry ground support, such as bolts and wire panels * Maintain equipment through safe operation and proper housekeeping and inspections
Qualifications
* On-the-job experience and or vocational training. * Underground experience is preferred. * Experience operating heavy machinery. * Valid driver’s license. * Ability to work in both office and operational mining environments. * Ability to regularly access active mining and processing areas to support operational teams, conduct site visits, investigations, coaching, and workforce engagement activities. * Ability to walk on uneven terrain, climb stairs and access elevated work areas as required. * Ability to wear and use mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE).
