Job Description
We're looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure accurate billing, timely payment processing, and exceptional support for our client organizations. What You'll Do
* Post payments, adjustments, and denials accurately to patient accounts. * Reconcile daily and monthly cash receipts and resolve discrepancies. * Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements. * Obtain and track prior authorizations to support timely billing. * Prepare, review, and submit insurance claims accurately. * Monitor outstanding claims and follow up on unpaid accounts. * Partner with Billing, Collections, Intake, and client teams to resolve reimbursement issues. * Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred. * At least 2 years of experience in billing, cash posting, or insurance verification * Experience with accounts receivable and electronic reimbursement systems. * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, EHRs, and practice management software. * Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
*Please note that this is a hybrid position requiring (3) days per week in the office (Milford).
