Summary: Kapur is seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Engineer to join our Site Design department in Downtown Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. This individual will be responsible for grading and utility design using Civil 3D to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities: * Assist in the preparation and design of civil engineering projects. * Perform grading and utility design using Civil 3D software. * Collaborate with the Site Design team to develop project plans, specifications, and estimates. * Conduct site visits and field inspections to gather data and assess project requirements. * Compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. * Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. * Professional Engineer (PE) License is required. * Proficiency in Civil 3D software desired. * 4-8 years of experience with site design and land development projects. * Familiarity with local, state, and federal engineering standards and regulations. * Strong understanding of grading and utility design principles. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional engineering setting.
