What You’ll Do:
* Manage environmental and oil/gas projects from scoping through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance. * Oversee and conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). * Direct soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and stormwater sampling. * Prepare technical reports, permits, and regulatory approvals. * Serve as a key client contact and mentor junior staff. * Support business development and proposal efforts. * Regulatory-facing expertise and leadership, preferably with Ohio EPA and ODNR. * Experience with Ohio VAP, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, and BUSTR frameworks * Phase II ESA leadership, environmental sampling, and compliance-driven project work * Mentorship, staff supervision, and project/program oversight elements layered into responsibilities
What You Bring:
* Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field * 5+ years of environmental consulting experience * 2+ years of project management experience * Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards, preference with orphan well experience. * Knowledge of civil engineering construction projects and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution. * Knowledge of Ohio VAP, and BUSTR with an understanding of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA * Strong communication and technical writing skills * OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred
Salary Range:
The starting salary range for this position is $100,000 per year, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and certifications.
