Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education, CNC training, or machining certification preferred. • 3+ years of experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment. • Experience performing tooling changes, offset adjustments, and production optimization on CNC turning centers. • Strong knowledge of machining principles, cutting tools, feeds and speeds, and metalworking processes. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications. • Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and gauges. • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques and quality assurance processes. • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and machine maintenance skills. • Experience with Fanuc‑controlled CNC lathes and basic program editing is a plus. • Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
